Black Heart Association(BHA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on the overall improvement of health outcomes in communities of color. BHA’s mission is to eliminate health disparities in black and brown communities through advocacy, education, and empowerment. We promote healthy hearts by advocating for people of color.

Join the Heart Guard Advocacy Program

This program is a pioneering advocacy program dedicated to the principles of justice, equity, and fairness. Our mission is to combat injustice and inequality within the healthcare system and beyond. We invite you to join us in our fight by engaging in policy reform, addressing systemic issues, and raising your voice for our patient community.

Founded by a three-time heart attack survivor, Tara Robinson, and her husband Fredrick, the Black Heart Association is dedicated to raising awareness about the causes, effects, and symptoms of heart disease.

At the heart of our mission is the belief that proactive heart health screenings are vital. We strive to help people understand that these screenings are a critical preventative measure everyone needs to take. Being proactive can save your life.
