Black Heart Association Hosts Powerful Dallas Film Event on Heart Health
Community gathers for “The Making of a Heart Attack” premiere, expert panel, and free heart screenings
Dallas, TX | June 14, 2025 — The Black Heart Association (BHA) brought the Dallas community together for an unforgettable afternoon of awareness, action, and advocacy during the premiere screening of The Making of a Heart Attack.
Held at 1005 Botham Jean Blvd, the free event featured a powerful short film that traced the silent yet deadly progression of heart disease—especially in Black communities.
A Full House for Heart Health
With a sold-out theater, The Making of a Heart Attack premiere was more than just an event — it was a movement. Community members showed up in full force to take control of their heart health, hear from medical experts, and receive free onsite screenings. The energy in the room was undeniable, and the commitment to change was felt from start to finish.

Film Screening: The Making of a Heart Attack gave attendees a cinematic, eye-opening look into the dangers of untreated LDL cholesterol and Lp(a).
