What is Deployed Hearts?

Heart care that comes to you

Deployed Hearts is Black Heart Association’s community-based screening and education program. Instead of requiring people to travel to a clinic or wait for a mobile unit, we deploy trained community health workers, medical assistants, and phlebotomists directly to approved gatherings.

Our teams arrive with the equipment and resources needed to help participants understand their risks, know their numbers, and take their next step toward care.

Each Deployed Hearts activation is customized based on the community’s needs, available funding, and event type. Services may include heart-health education, preventive screenings, private results guidance, insurance support, mental-health resources, referrals, and connections to follow-up care.

MORE THAN A SCREENING
