The History of Seconds in Red

Seconds in Red was one of the very first events the Black Heart Association ever hosted. At the time, we did not yet understand the full weight of what it meant to ask women to stand with us in the fight against heart disease. We knew that women were often hurting, underserved, and unseen when it came to heart health, and that we could not do this work alone.
