The Black Heart Association is proud to announce a new partnership with the Community Healing And Mental Health Project (CHAMP) to provide free mental health counseling services to our community. This initiative is part of our mission to create healthier, more resilient communities by addressing the critical need for mental health support in underserved populations.

What We Offer

Through this partnership, participants will receive free counseling sessions tailored to their mental health needs. These sessions are designed to provide individuals with tools and resources to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and more.

Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Initial Session:

    • A mental health checkup assessing anxiety, depression, and stress.

  2. Second Session:

    • Receive a personalized coping skills plan via print or email.

    • Implementation strategies to foster resilience and healing.

  3. Third Session:

  • A 20-minute virtual follow-up to evaluate progress.

  • A second round of assessments and further guidance.
